มากิ โฮริคิตะ เคนอิจิ มัตสึยามะ ร่วมทีมกับผู้กำกับชาวอเมริกัน
มากิกับเคนจังได้รับคัดเลือกเป็นนักแสดงร่วมในภาพยนตร์เรื่องใหม่
ของผู้กำกับชาวอเมริกัน Hans Canosa จาก ภ. Conversations with Other Women
ถึงจะเป็น ผกก.สัญชาติอเมริกัน แต่ภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้ถูกสร้างเพื่อเน้นตลาดในญี่ปุ่น
โดยมีแผนจะถ่ายทำบางส่วนในอเมริกา และบทพูดบางส่วนก็จะเป็นภาษาอังกฤษด้วย

ชื่อเรื่องภาษาญี่ปุ่นอย่างไม่เป็นทางการ คือ Nakushita Kioku
เป็นบทภาพยนตร์ที่ดัดแปลงมาจากบทประพันธ์เรื่อง Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac
เขียนโดยนักเขียนชาวอเมริกัน Gabrielle Zevin
ซึ่งเล่าเรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับ สาวน้อยนาม นาโอมิ
ผู้ซึ่งสูญเสียความทรงจำในช่วง 4 ปีที่ผ่านมาหลังจากพลาดตกบันได
นาโอมิพยายามรื้อฟื้นความทรงจำของเธอให้กลับคืนมา
ซึ่งก็ทำให้เธอได้ไปเจอเรื่องราวโรแมนติกกับยูจิ (แสดงโดยเคนจัง)
ซึ่งเป็นเพื่อนร่วมโรงเรียนในอดีตของเธอ (Kyaaaa)

ภาพยนตร์จะเริ่มถ่ายทำวันพุธนี้ (เห-- พุธนี้ ก็คือพรุ่งนี้เนี่ยนะ ถ่ายหนังที่อาโมริจบแล้วรึ)
วางแผนจะฉายในญี่ปุ่นช่วงฤดูใบไม้ร่วงปี 2009
และฉายต่อในอเมริกาปี 2010


Horikita, Matsuyama team up with American director

Maki Horikita and Kenichi Matsuyama have been cast as co-stars in a new movie
directed by American filmmaker Hans Canosa ("Conversations with
Other Women"). Although the movie is being made primarily for the Japanese
market, there are plans to have the film screened in the U.S., and some of
the dialogue will be in English.

The movie's working Japanese title is "Nakushita Kioku." It is based on
the novel "Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac" by American author
Gabrielle Zevin, which tells the story of a girl named Naomi who loses
the last four years of her memory after falling down a staircase.
While Naomi tries to re-establish her identity, she also has to deal with
romance in the form of Yuji (Matsuyama), an older schoolmate.

Filming begins this Wednesday. The movie's Japanese premiere is planned
for fall 2009, and a U.S. release will hopefully follow in 2010.

NEWS' Tegoshi joins Horikita, Matsuyama in "Nakushita Kioku"

Yuya Tegoshi of NEWS has been added to the cast of "Nakushita Kioku,"
an upcoming movie by American director Hans Canosa. The film was
announced earlier this week when it was revealed that Maki Horikita
and Kenichi Matsuyama will be the co-stars.

The film, based on Gabrielle Zevin's "Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac,"
tells the story of a high schooler named Naomi (Horikita) who loses
the last four years of her memory in an accident. Tegoshi will play Mirai,
her close friend.

Filming started this week. The movie is expected to be released in 2009,
hopefully followed by a U.S. release in 2010.

クラウザーのポーズでファンの声援に応える松山ケンイチ（C）Yumiko Kinoshita　
第33回トロント国際映画祭のミッドナイト・マッドネス部門に招待された『デトロイト・メタル・
シティ』が５日（金）、Ryrson Theatreで公式上映され、主演の松山ケンイチと
李闘士男監督が舞台あいさつに臨んだ。

　部門名が示す通り、23時59分開映という深夜枠にもかかわらず、開場を待つファンは
劇場を取り囲むほどの長蛇の列。約500席は一瞬にして埋まり、２階奥まで、詰めかけた
ファンでぎっしりとなる人気ぶりだ。

　日付が変わって間もなく、松山と李監督がレッドカーペットに登場するや、ファンからの熱い
歓声が響く。オールバックに蝶ネクタイ姿の松山は、予想を上回る好反応に「うわ、
すごい……」と、うれしさとはにかみに満ちた笑顔で応えた。

　舞台挨拶では、「最初にお断りしておきたいのですが……」と切り出した李監督。
「“デトロイトの鉄鋼産業を扱った社会派映画”ではございませんので（笑）。
勘違いして来てしまった方がいらっしゃったら、僕がここで料金を払い戻ししますから」
といきなりの爆笑を誘った。

満員のファンも大声援で歓迎ムード　冒頭の東宝マークから大きな歓声が上がり、
松山演じるヨハネ・クラウザーⅡ世と根岸のギャップに爆笑と拍手がひっきりなしに起こる。
そして、エンドクレジットと同時に拍手喝さいが会場を包んだ。

　上映後のティーチインも質問が後を絶たず、終始和やかな雰囲気。「メタルとポップ、
本当はどちらが好きなのか？」という問いに、松山は「どちらも聴きます。クラシックも
聴きますし、アニメやゲームのサントラも。あと、宮崎駿監督などの映画音楽を担当する
久石譲さんも好きですね」。現地でも宮崎監督の知名度は抜群で、観客たちも松山に
対する親近感を深めた様子だ。

　また、出演したロックバンド「KISS」のジーン・シモンズに関する質問も。松山は、
「ジーンさんから話しかけてくださって、『おまえもミュージシャンやって、金稼いで、
女と遊べ』って言われました」とエピソードを披露。「ヨハネ･クラウザーはライブを
続けるのか？」との問いには「今、クラウザーさんは地獄に行っているので、戻ったら
（続けるかどうか）聞いておきます」と、李監督に負けじとトロントニアンの笑いを
誘っていた。

Detroit Metal City Out-Rocks Jimmy Page

Not to be upstaged by the premiere of the guitar hero-laden It Might Get Loud
last night, Midnight Madness countered with a rock god of their own -
Johannes Klauser II of Detroit Metal City. It was indeed a real rockstar moment
for both director Toshio Lee and star Kenichi Matsuyama as dozens of fans
crammed the red carpet for a glimpse of the two personalities behind the #2
movie in Japan, and the #1 movie on earth about a deeply-conflicted metal star
who has to battle Gene Simmons for death metal supremacy while teaching
his younger brother that farming is cool.

This 4 hours of sleep a night is killing me. Like Danny Glover always said
“I’m getting’ to old for this!” BTW, did I mention my birthday was September
10th? Caffeine pills would be greatly appreciated.



Big shoutout to Karen Shute for the awesome red carpet pics posted in the
Facebook Midnight Madness Group. Wait, you aren't a member?!!? Don't make
me send Johannes Krauser II after you!



Detroit Metal City had it’s international premiere last night and a select few fans
got the opportunity to hang with the director and his entourage on the Red Carpet
and sit in the coveted reserved section with the entourage. Let’s see that happen
at the Elgin or Roy Thompson! After the reception Ken'ichi Matsuyama & Toshio
Lee got it’s no surprise why cast and crew make the 10+ hour journey from Japan
to greet their fans across the pond. Midnight Madness fans are an eclectic bunch,
but it’s safe to say that Madness fans of Asian cinema are the loudest & most
dedicated group in the bunch.



As a former 7 year resident of the Detroit area I was glad to see our city so well
represented… If at least only in the title, Detroit needs whatever good press
it can get. Check out the Intro & Q&A below to learn fascinating things about
Takeshi Kitano’s Puppet Master & what working with Rock Legend Gene Simmons
was like.
